so, ever wonder how to put sound on pivot? or even music? sounds impossible, eh? well its not ._.
if you want sound on your pivot animation all you need to do is like 6 steps
1st step:
make a pivot animation, save it as a .gif file, and when you are done go to findsounds.com or another site which has sounds for you to choose from (findsounds.com is the only one i have found thats GOOD so far)
2nd step:
type in your sound and choose the one you want. then right click the sound (shown in light blue, almost like a link) and click "save target as" and then put it to wherever you can access it.
3rd step:
open up "Windows Movie Maker" (known as WMM to some) and click "import picture" (the picture is actually your .gif file that you made your pivot animation in, in the first step. so don't ask me questions about why its a picture and blabbity blah-blah.ok?)then drag the animation into the bar labeled "video".
4th step:
click "import audio or music" (directly under "import picture")then choose the sound you chose in step 2.
5th and final step for putting sound on pivot:
put your sound under the "video" option on Windows Movie Maker, which is labeled "Audio/music title overlay", then edit where your sound should go, and for how long, trim if necesarry (trimming is basically the same as puting that particular part of the sound off, like if your playing music but you want it to quiet down or even shut off for the rest of your vid just trim it, and you wont have to worry about it unless you re-edit.) then save the "movie" as a movie file and your done putting your sound on, congrats .
if you do not have windows movie maker simply go on your favorite search engine and type it in. or go to microsoft (if you have a microsoft computer) and type it in thier search engine (part of thier website) and download it free, but windows movie maker is only for Windows Vista and Windows XP, and its most likely the only way you can put sound on pivot...most likely, not impossible..so dont go shoving words in my mouth >_>
step 6:After you save the file as a video file, close out of Windows Movie Maker.
and go to "import video" under the "import collections list" then import your finished video with sound usually under or in the "My Documents" tab in "My Computer"( which is actually your computer "My Computer" is an option in all computers) into Windows Movie Maker, then all you have to do now is put music into the "Audio/ Music title overlay" because you can only have one sound inside Windows Movie Maker at a time, even if it is the same. Now upload it into a site you like ( like animatorshall.com, imageshack.com, tinypic.com, youtube.com, it doesn't matter, as long as it is approved by this site and hosts pivot) and host it.
remember, practice makes perfect.
