I like it If you're going to do beams, I reckon that's how you should do it, you seem to have a knack. Oh, but also - the stick kind of jerks about a little bit on a couple of frames near the end. If it happened because you forgot about two parts to move, then I suggest that you don't try to fix them as it makes the animation a little bit pause-y.

Keep all you're animations in one thread, please.
Overall it was pretty good for first beam. (i assume.) As said before, Use the easing tutorial. IT REALLY HELPS.
And wtf is wrong with his left leg? It breaks after the beam.
